ABC WA COUNTRY HOUR | WA growers urged to have their say on grains levy review
Western Australian grain growers are being encouraged to take part in Grain Producers Australia’s national survey to help determine the future of levy rates paid to the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). For the first time since the system began, growers are being asked to vote on proposed changes to the grain levy, including a 20% reduction in the research and development component.
