STOCK & LAND | Prime minister confirms agriculture minister in new look Labor ministry

Tasmanian MP Julie Collins has been confirmed to return to the role of Minister for Agriculture following the recent federal election, with Queensland Senator Anthony Chisholm returning as Assistant Minister for Agriculture.

Stock & Land reported that the agriculture portfolio would remain with the status quo, unlike a number of other ministerial positions for the new Albanese Labor Government.

Grain Producers Australia congratulated Ms Collins and Senator Chisholm on their re-appointments.
