A cohort of 50 farmer groups have been congratulated by former Australian Test cricketer and Grain Producers Australia's national mental health ambassador for their collective hard work.
The effort, led by the National Farmers Federation, has been building in recent months to now include 50 groups, including Grain Producers Australia.
Stock & Land reported that the initiative is putting forward a proposal requesting $50 million in government funding to support evidence-based programs tailored for agriculture that support good mental health support and outcomes.
