SHEEP CENTRAL | National farmer campaign against the federal super tax calls for support

Industry concern about the Federal Government's proposed super tax is prompting calls for a campaign to oppose the moves and Grain Producers Australia is hosting a free webinar to help inform growers about the potential implications of the policy.

Sheep Central reported an update as the National Farmers Federation launched an industry campaign against the policy and NSW Farmers issued a warning to the Federal Government that the policy could shut young farmers out of the industry.

The GPA webinar entitled Super tax impacts on Aussie farming families will be led by GPA chair and Western Australian grain producer Barry Large.

It will also hear from RSM partner and superannuation specialist Katie Timms, and Seer Financial Group founding partner and accountant John Thomson.

The webinar is free of charge to GPA members and others, and will kick off at 7pm eastern standard time on June 26.
