AUSTRALIAN farm groups have united in strong opposition of the proposed 10 per cent biosecurity levy, sending a joint letter to the Prime Minister calling for its immediate and urgent reversal.
The 50 groups representing producers across the grains, livestock, horticulture, diry, forestry amd seafood sectors are urging the Federal Government to scrap the levy which is due to be implemented by 1 July.
