International publication People has highlighted the growing mouse plague affecting Australian grain-producing regions, drawing on Grain Producers Australia commentary to explain the impact on growers, local businesses and regional communities.
GPA Research and Development Spokesperson Andrew Weidemann said the mouse outbreak was "another kick in the guts, not only for our farmers impacted, it's the community, it's anybody. It's small business, it's supermarkets, it's the baker."
