Matthew is an experienced and passionate grain grower from east of Moree NSW, producing a variety of dryland crops including wheat, barley, chickpeas and sorghum.
After graduating from Orange Agricultural College, gaining an Associate Diploma in Farm Management, he has spent the last 37 years working and managing his own farm business.
Adding to his diverse experience and skills, Matthew has also worked in a local agribusiness supplying specialty grains in the Australian market as well as export grain.
He has been member of NSW Farmers Association Grains Committee from 2016, and a member of NSWFA Biosecurity Committee since 2018, and was Chair from 2018 to 2021, before being elected as a GPA Board Director. He also completed the AICD Companies Directors Course in July 2019.
