Andrew has extensive experience in agriculture, having gained a diploma in Farm Management from Marcus Oldham College, Geelong, in 1989. After graduation, he started farming at Bullawarrie as Property Manager when the property was mainly involved in grazing activities, with only 700 hectares of cultivation.
He is now the Managing Partner of the operation which has increased its broadacre farming capacity to 16,000 hectares of cultivation. The increase in cultivation has been through developing country in compliance with the state regulations regarding native vegetation, and to ensure the property can be sustainably farmed into the future. Andrew is also a Partner and Manager in Share farming Partnerships currently growing dryland winter crops and irrigated summer crops and partner in a local Grain Storage Business and a Fuel Supply Business.
He is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course and one of GPA’s most experienced Board members, with several industry and community roles and highlights to his credit including:
